That's a big 10-4 for Laredo Community College


Laredo Community College president, Juan L. Maldonado is shown receiving the keys to a brand spanking new Peterbilt tractor with accompanying utility trailer. Presenting the keys is Lewis Woodul, general manager of Laredo's Rush Truck Center.

The big rig was donated by Rush Truck Center-Laredo. It will be used for LCC's commercial driver's licensing program. The course will be take 4 weeks to complete (160 hours). In addition, Rush Truck Center will also make it possible for the LCC diesel mechanics students to receive the latest computer-based diagnostice software. Several of the biggest trucking manufacturers such as Peterbilt and Cummings have agreed to provide software updates to LCC's Diesel Engine and Mechanics Repair program.
