However, this company is not to be confused with Lacks Valley Stores, a family owned company which owns 10 stores in Laredo and the South Texas valley. Its stores are located on the Texas border from Laredo to Port Isabel, including locations in Brownsville, Harlingen, Edinburgh, Pharr, McAllen, Mission and Rio Grande City. The 140,000-square-foot Lacks Valley Store in McAllen is the largest furniture store in Texas.
