Laredo native and former "DWTS" contestant, Tom Delay sentenced to 3 years in prison

Born in Laredo, Texas in 1947, Delay spent much of his youth in Venezuela where his father worked in the petroleum industry. It seems that all this exposure to the Latin culture was not sufficient for Delay to come out victorius in his Dancing With The Stars stint. Similarly, his defense apparently was not adequate enough to get him probation on money laundering charges. Instead, Delay was sentenced to 3 years in prison at the Travis County District Court in Austin
