Laredo should also have a format that allows public to "voice" it's concerns

Laredo has always had problems with transparency. That's probably why we probably won't see any of our local media websites include something like what the Victoria Advocate does. That newpaper's website includes a call-in capability for it's readers. Any comments called in are then accessible by the general public. Sounds like a good way to increase traffic to me. Here's what it looks like .

  1. LMT does not want to hear from the community, it might upset their too cozy position with the anointed politicians. --Anymouse

  2. LMT has taken a nosedive in it's obligation to provide real NEWS to the community. They're becoming more of a joke.

  3. LMT is more of a Cliff Notes of Laredo news, for lazy readers. LMT is a joke when it comes to accuracy, proper spelling, content, (someone stop me here)....
