Laredo has always had problems with transparency. That's probably why we probably won't see any of our local media websites include something like what the Victoria Advocate does. That newpaper's website includes a call-in capability for it's readers. Any comments called in are then accessible by the general public. Sounds like a good way to increase traffic to me.
