The Amazing Cosmopolitan Laredo Skyline

It's  a bird, it's a plane...............it's probably a kite ?
The Hamilton Hotel was originally about 3 stories high. Eventually, it had a huge remodelling upgrade which resulted in the current 13 stories. It still is one of the tallest buildings in town. What is surprising is that the Hamilton, The Plaza (BBVA) and the Rio Grande Hilton (I forget it's current name) are all about the same height and are all  many decades old. The hotel on the Rio was built during the 1970s I believe. Both the Plaza and the Hamilton rose to prominence (pardon the pun) during the 1930s. So, it doesn't look like the vaunted Laredo Skyline has changed much. Still, it's breathtaking in the glow of a full South Texas moon. Ahhh......the majesty of Laredo!
