Some of Henry Cuellar's top contributors include: Kock Industries $33,000, Valero Energy $21,000, Killam Oil Company $12,700, Chevron Oil $11,000, Conoco Phillips $10,800 & Fasken Oil $10,100 just to name a few. Cuellar recently voted to "gut" the Clean Water Act. This would result in regulation shifting from the EPA to the states. Texas has a dismal record of water and air quality controls. The legislation supported by Cuellar has been decried by public health and environmental groups. It will allow the fracking industry to run rampant over any protections previously safeguarding Texas' precious natural resources.
