Back to the drawing board for Boeing's 787
Reports are that Boeing's entire fleet of 787s will suspend any planned flights for the foreseeable future. After a 787 had to make an emergency landing at our prestigious Laredo International Airport, engineers started looking for the root cause. Their work continues at the Seattle-based aviation giant. The FAA announced Friday that it has no plans to resume test flights for the 787 Dreamliner. In related news, Boeing's stock fell more that 11 per cent during this past week. I'm guessing Boeing will avoid flying over Laredo for a while.
