What the state of Texas expects from TAMIU





Performance Measure Targets. The following is a listing of the key performance target levels for the Texas A&M International University. It is the intent of the Legislature that appropriations made by this Act be utilized in the most efficient and effective manner possible to achieve the intended mission of the Texas A&M International University.
In order to achieve the objectives and service standards established by this Act, the Texas A&M International University shall make every effort to attain the following designated key performance target levels associated with each item of appropriation.

 
Goal: INSTRUCTION/OPERATIONS  Outcome (Results/Impact):

Percent of First-time, Full-time, Degree-seeking
Freshmen Who Earn a Baccalaureate Degree within Six
Academic Years 2012: 42%           2013: 42%


Percent of First-time, Full-time, Degree-seeking
Freshmen Who Earn a Baccalaureate Degree within Four
Academic Years 2012: 25%           2013:  25%


Persistence Rate of First-time, Full-time,
Degree-seeking Freshmen Students after One Academic
Year 2012: 70%                                2013: 70%


Certification Rate-Teacher Ed. Graduates 75%,  75%
Editors note: At present TAMIU is in warning-accredited
status for not having met this goal. If the University fails
again next year, it goes into probation-accredited status. 
After that, TAMIU's college of ed. accreditation would be pulled. 


Percent of Baccalaureate Graduates Who Are First
Generation College Graduates 60%,              60%
