Councilman San Miguel puts ethics commission on this week's agenda

Over the last few weeks, representative from Voices In Democratic Action (VIDA) have been speaking out at Laredo seedy council meetings. For the most part, their concerns have revolved around the city's failure to activate an Ethics Ad Hoc Commission which has been in the works since at least 2006.

Now, councilman Charlie San Miguel has honored VIDA's request by placing the following item on this week's agenda.  The meeting is slated for Monday, July 16th at 5:30pm at City Hall.
